Alexandroupolis becomes a meeting place for everyone who creates, explores, and loves images.
The Center for Creative Photography of Thrace invites you to the official opening of Alexandroupolis Photo Week 2026 on Saturday, October 31, at 7:00 PM, at Warehouse 1 at the Port of Alexandroupolis.
At the heart of the opening evening is “Photography Today,” a discussion exploring the role and power of photography in the contemporary world. New technologies, artificial intelligence, and social change are shaping how we create, share, and interpret images. This gathering opens a conversation about everything that is changing—and the qualities that make photography a distinctive medium for expression, memory, and communication.
The evening marks the beginning of a festival that brings exhibitions, talks, and creative gatherings to the city through November 8, featuring photographers and artists from Greece and abroad.
Whether you practice photography or simply feel moved by the stories an image can tell, join us to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate the beginning of this photography festival.
