Inner Dialogues

Inner Dialogues is a photographic series based on unexpected encounters. Each pair consists of two images that were not necessarily created to belong together, yet they seem to share a quiet, almost instinctive connection.

Placed side by side, the images begin to engage in a dialogue. A human figure meets a landscape, light responds to darkness, a gaze echoes a texture, and fragments of memory emerge between seemingly unrelated images.

Their relationship is not always obvious. It exists somewhere between coincidence, intuition, and emotion—in that invisible thread that makes two different images seem as if they had been waiting for one another.

Two images. One silent dialogue.

Giannis Gogos has been involved in photography since 2008. For many years, his photographic work was influenced by the wild and mysterious beauty of the Rhodope Mountains. The birth of his daughter in 2014 inspired him to explore a more conscious connection between photography and his inner world. Since then, his photographic interests have expanded to embrace a wider range of subjects and themes. He draws inspiration from photographers, painters, and musicians, remaining open to the impressions and experiences of everyday life.
