A journey by ship is more than simply moving from one place to another. For the photographer, At Sea... becomes part of a personal journey—one that continues each time the ship leaves the shore behind and sails into the open sea, capturing his relationship with the sea and the people around him.
The ship becomes a small world of temporary coexistence, filled with faces, images, thoughts, and expectations. The passengers are the protagonists of a shared passage, their gazes sometimes lost on the horizon and other times turned inward. Ultimately, the lens focuses on these brief, fleeting moments, searching for something of the unseen side of the journey.
